We are Christians by the gracious calling of God, Baptists by conviction, and Southern Baptists by choice.  We joyfully associate and cooperate with the Southern Baptist Convention of Churches and support its collective efforts and ministries both prayerfully and financially.

The First Baptist Church of Hartsville affirms the articles of the Baptist Faith and Message (2000)(BF&M) and has adopted the entire document as its statement of faith.  We will be happy to supply you with a copy of the BF&M upon request.
