Mark 16:15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation”. Three Sunday School classes will be available Jan. ‘09. Please pick a class and be ready to show up 15 minutes earlier staring next year. The class choices are: The Way of True Life: Studies in the Gospel of John, Fighting for Your Fellowship: Overcoming Opposition to Prayer, Happy Birthday: Concerning Spiritual Gifts.
Also in 2009 we will be launching a new prayer ministry in which we will be trying to have our services and prayer requests being prayed for 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Acts 1:8 Projects
Jerusalem (local areas) Looking for Lydia's! "Lydia" is that person with whom you have at least some casual contact on a regular basis that is un-churched. This person probably already believes in God, and may already believe that Jesus lived and died. Some Lydia's even believe that Jesus came back from the dead. They just don't have a clue why in the world it should matter to them personally. About 52% of Lydia's will come to church and/or to a Bible study if you will simply invite them. But the vast majority of them are not being invited to church by the churchgoing Christians around them. How tragic. These type of people already have a strong tendency to believe, they just need an invitation to come to a worship service and hear the Word. As you move through your Jerusalem, please make it a point to take a baby step out of your comfort zone and invite Mr. or Ms. Lydia to church.
Judea/Samaria (Indiana and N.America) We are engaging Indiana/North America by praying for our sister churches that are currently without a pastor. There are some 45 SBC churches in Indiana without a pastor! Please join us as we focus our prayers on the pastorless churches in our association.
Ends of the Earth (Overseas) I had a picture sent to me by our missionary brothers and sisters serving in North Vietnam. It is a picture of an altar in the home of the people they are trying to reach with the Good News of Jesus. The altar is to the family ancestors, whom they worship. This is typical of the UN-reached people group (the San Chey) in the area. Please join us in praying for the San Chey peoples in N.VN. Pray that they would turn away from worshiping dead relatives, and turn to worshiping the one true and living God who is worthy to receive their worship.
